KW47: Automotive Bluetooth Core 6 MCUs with Channel Sounding Localization for Access and Telematics

KW47 product family consists of low-power, highly secure, single-chip wireless MCUs that integrate a high performance Bluetooth Low Energy Core version 6.0 radio with Channel Sounding and CAN FD for Automotive and Industrial applications. KW47 Channel Sounding implementation offers best in class Bluetooth Low Energy localization with great accuracy, security and optimized power consumption.

The family integrates a state-of-the-art, scalable security architecture including Arm® TrustZone®-M, a resource domain controller, and an isolated EdgeLock™ Secure Enclave supporting hardware cryptographic accelerators, random number generators and key generation, storage and management and secure debug.

The Bluetooth Low Energy 6-compliant upgradeable radio supports up to 24 simultaneous hardware connections in any central/peripheral combination. The EdgeLock Secure Enclave’s isolated execution environment provides a set of cryptographic accelerators, key store operations and secure lifecycle management that minimizes main core security responsibilities.

The KW47 family also has an integrated FlexCAN supporting CAN and CAN FD compliant with the ISO 11898-1 standard for automotive applications.

The FlexCAN module can support CAN’s flexible data rate (CAN FD) for increased bandwidth and lower latency.
