The i.MX 93 EVK for 11x11mm sample provides a platform for comprehensive evaluation of the i.MX 93 applications processors and also includes the ability to measure power consumption on the power rails.

The kit includes three boards interconnected:

  • A compute module (standard 6-layer technology) containing a superset i.MX 93 SoC (MIMX9352CVVXMAB), 2 GB LPDDR4X, 16GB eMMC, NXP’s PMIC (PCA9451A) and power monitoring circuits
  • A connectivity base board, which includes a standard M.2 E-KEY slot for plugging in off-the-shelf connectivity modules, such as Wi-Fi/BLE and LTE modules from NXP partners
  • An M.2 module with the Murata LBES5PL2EL module (containing NXP’s Wi-Fi 6 + BT 5.2 + IEEE 802.15.4 Tri-radio IW612 chipset) connected to an onboard Wi-Fi / BT dual antenna

The Linux-based board support package software is preloaded to boot from the compute module eMMC memory. This includes a rich “NXP Demo Experience” application to explore preinstalled demos. This kit provides an excellent starting point to accelerate your own design.
