NXP’s hearing aid solution is built on a ultra-low power radio, NXH2004, which is Bluetooth® 5.3 LE Audio certified and supports Auracast™, MFi (made for iPhone/iPad/iPod) and ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids), and HAP (Hearing Access Profile). It features an integrated audio DSP, enabling hearing aid algorithms to run directly on the device. NXH2004 offers extended battery life, can operate directly on Zn-Air batteries, and – when combined with NXP’s PMIC 9420 – provides a compact, power-efficient and cost-effective solution ideal for Li-ion-based hearing aids.
