Its system architecture features a multi-protocol microcontroller unit (MCU) with Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, a security subsystem and an LCD controller. To ensure continuous device operation and simplify Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and bill of materials (BOM), the platform includes a power management system (PMICs) with battery charging and gauging. For enhanced connectivity, an Near Field Communication (NFC) reader is included, enabling easy pairing and data access from NFC-enabled patches. A secure element is recommended to protect sensitive data and comply with stringent security standards.
