AI smart glasses and augmented reality or virtual reality headsets have developed from science fiction concepts into
functional technologies. AI smart glasses are now used for tasks such as teleprompting, object recognition,
real-time
translation and health monitoring. These devices facilitate user interaction with reduced dependence on smartphones,
and
their use in human-computer interaction (HCI) is increasing. Augmented reality (AR) relies on i.MX multimedia
processing, sensors and software. AR provides new user experiences in upcoming mobile devices across the consumer,
medical
and automotive infotainment fields.
